Is Taylor Swift Joining Marvel Studios' Blonde Phantom Show? Rumours Heat Up
Marvel Studios is reportedly planning to develop a Disney+ series on the superhero character of Blonde Phantom.

Speculations are rife that Marvel Studios is gearing up to introduce yet another comic superhero to the world through a potential Disney+ series. If reports are to be believed, the upcoming production will be based on the character of the Blonde Phantom, the masked crime fighter from Marvel Comics. She has been a part of the Marvel world since the Golden Age of Comics. With ongoing discussions about the show, several names are being considered for the titular role, and Taylor Swift is the latest to emerge.

Hot off the heels of her latest album, The Tortuted Poets Department and Eras Tour, Taylor Swift could be moving into acting with a potential MCU role.

According to a ScreenTime report, makers are developing the Blonde Phantom series, with Taylor Swift being considered to play the lead role. The Fortnight hitmaker reportedly also met Marvel President Kevin Feige to discuss her role as a crime fighter and detective. While confirmed news is yet to arrive, this development has left her fans pretty excited.

Notably, the news came just a week after MCU veteran Scarlett Johansson’s name was also being tossed around for the role. After bidding farewell to the superhero world as Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, Johansson might also be on the list of actors being considered for the role. In 2023, the actress also confirmed that she is still on board for a “non-Black Widow” Marvel Studios project. While details about the project have been kept under wraps, reports suggest that the mysterious project could be a Disney+ series and is going to be based on the Blonde Phantom.

More about Marvel Comics’ Blonde Phantom

Created by Stan Lee and Syd Shores, Blonde Phantom made her debut in All Select Comics #11 in 1946. It revolves around Louise Grant, who works as a secretary to a detective in the daytime and as a crime-fighting superhero in the night. She transforms into the Blonde Phantom to help her boss solve cases and save him.

The character was also featured in her own solo series. In the Modern Age comics, she was reintroduced as Louise Mason after marrying Mark Mason. After her husband’s death, she joins Blake Tower and Jennifer Walker aka She-Hulk.
