Kannada TV actress Vaishnavi Gowda enjoys a huge fan base after she gained popularity with her outstanding works in the entertainment industry. She has become a household name in Kannada homes as her popularity has grown. The former Bigg Boss contestant frequently makes news for her work or her outstanding style statement. However, this time she is in the spotlight for her latest TV serial, Seetha Rama, which successfully airs on Zee Kannada.
The actress was recently fined by the police for a traffic rule violation depicted in her TV serial. The incident came to light after a viewer named Jayaprakash Ekkur from Mangaluru, Karnataka, complained about the 14th episode scene of the serial Seetha Rama. In the scene, a character was spotted riding a two-wheeler without a helmet.
The complainant shared that this scene is sending a very wrong message to society. Because of that, he has filed a complaint. Jayaprakash has written in the complaint that strict action should be taken against the actress, the serial director, and the channel immediately. The complaint was sent to the Mangaloruru City Police Commissioner, emphasising the possible harmful influence of such scenarios on the audience, which might encourage disregard for traffic rules.
As a result, the commissioner sent the matter to the Mangaluru Traffic East Station for further investigation. Following inquiry, it was discovered that the sequence in question was filmed in Nandini Layout, Bengaluru. On May 10, the Rajajinagar police station fined the actress and the owner of the vehicle engaged in the scene Rs 500 each.
Additionally, the serial’s production manager also promised officials that future episodes would follow traffic restrictions. This incident underscores the importance of raising awareness about road safety measures, particularly the mandatory use of helmets.
