Mirzapur Season 3 Release Date Announced But There's A Catch; Can You Guess It?

Mirzapur season 3 is one of the most awaited shows in the OTT market. The makers have kept us waiting long enough to announce the show’s release date. Now, with back-to-back teasers featuring the lead actors, the excitement for the show continues to rise. The streaming platform has been coming up with new ideas to promote its upcoming shows. For the third season of Mirzapur, Prime Video announced the show’s release date with a twist.

Prime Video shared a cryptic post on Instagram. It features a quirky caricature showcasing the beloved characters from the series. Attached to it was a note that read, “Mirzapur S3 ki release date chuppi hai isme. Dhoond sakte ho toh dhoond lo!” (The release date of Mirzapur S3 is hidden here. Find it if you can).

Shortly after, fans of the show flooded the comment section with their guesses. Several users guessed the release date to be June 21, while some felt it could be July 7. One user wrote, “I have 2 guesses… 1st – 21st July 2024 (full moon on 21st, and guns, bullets, carpets, people are 7) and other is so common as everything is seven then it’s thala for a reason 7-7-2024,” while another user commented, “13 July final 100%.”

A fan comment read, “Full moon hai, interesting 21st June is super close.”

The latest promo shared on Instagram features Rasika Dugal, who plays the role of Beena Tripathi in the series. In the short clip, Rasika says, “Yeh Mirzapur hai, idhar kucn maangenege na toh milega nahi, sab cheen ke lena padta hai, chaahe gaddi ho ya season 3 ka date. Thoda din baad miliye, aur prepared rahiye.” The caption of the post read, “Maang ke leni pade ya cheen ke, date to milegi hi.”

Prime Video announced season 3 of Mirzapur on March 19 in the presence of the star cast including Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Vijay Verma, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, and Harshita Gaur, among others. The first season was released on November 16, 2018, while the second season was released in October 2020. Meanwhile, the makers finished shooting season 3 last December.
