Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone Flaunts Baby Bump on Late Night Dinner Outing With Mom | Watch

Bollywood star Deepika Padukone stepped out for dinner date with her mommy, Ujjala Padukone, on Friday night. The actress, who is expecting her first baby with Ranveer Singh, was photographed exiting a posh restaurant in a stylish body-hugging black dress which she wore under a blue denim jacket.

In a video, shared by Bollywood paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Deepika is seen surrounded by a swarm of photographers as she walks out of the restaurant with her mother. The actress showed off her baby bump in the skintight dress and radiated pregnancy glow. One user commented, “Just looking like a wow!” Another one said, “Congratulations, ma’am!”

Last week, Deepika Padukone shut down her trolls after she stepped out to promote her cosmetic brand, flaunting her million-dollar smile. Deepika has been facing immense scrutiny on social media ever since she stepped out to cast her vote in the fifth phase of the Mumbai Lok Sabha elections. It was the first time she appeared publicly with her baby bump. However, a section of the social media users called her bump “fake”.

Deepika appeared to be unfazed by all the trolling around her baby bump and posed happily for the paps at the promotional event of her skincare brand.

Amid the ongoing trolling of the actress on social media, a senior journalist, Faye D’Souza, recently penned a strongly-worded post on her official Instagram account and showed her solidarity with Deepika.

In her post, Faye wrote, “Dear social media, Deepika Padukone stepped out to do her democratic duty and vote. She did not ask for your feedback on her body or her pregnancy. You have no right to comment on any aspect of her life. Stop it. Behave.” Alia Bhatt was quick to like the post. In fact, Alia’s sisters Pooja Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan liked the post too.

Meanwhile, Deepika is working through her pregnancy. The actress is currently shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again. In the film, she will be playing the role of a ruthless police officer. Besides this, Deepika will be seen in Kalki 2898 AD in which she will be sharing the screen with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan.
