Actress and producer Radhika Kumaraswamy is currently making headlines for her upcoming film Bhairadevi. The film is all set to hit theatres on October 3, during the Navaratri festival. Meanwhile, according to the latest, this upcoming project may be her last film as actress Radhika Kumaraswamy.

Bhairadevi is directed by Shrijai and will also feature Ramesh Aravind and Anu Prabhakar in other pivotal roles. Radhika recently revealed her future in acting depends on the film’s success, crediting the team’s perseverance through production challenges.

Speaking at the trailer launch, Radhika Kumaraswamy said the film’s success will determine her future in the industry. She said, “If the audience appreciates Bhairadevi, I will continue to act in films. If not, this will be my last,” said Radhika, expressing her investment in the project.

The upcoming film is directed by Shrijai. Meanwhile, sharing her work experience in the film Radhika Kumaraswamy revealed that the project took shape after Shrijai narrated the story to her. “If he had not come with this story, this film would not exist. I told him that if the movie succeeds, we will continue, but if it does not, I will step away from the industry,” she added.

Radhika Kumaraswamy also gave special credit to the film’s cast and crew for their hard work and also shared about the challenges they faced during production. “There were times when I wondered why we were struggling so much. But it’s not just me; the entire team faced difficulties. We overcame many obstacles to bring this movie to life,” she added.

The actress also shared her gratitude for the support she received from her fans and family, recalling a pivotal encounter with a couple that reignited her determination to release the film despite numerous challenges. Bhairadevi will hit theatres as part of the Navaratri and Dasara festivities, with high hopes from its cast and crew.

Lastly, Radhika Kumaraswamy was seen in the Kannada film Ravi Bopanna. The film is directed by Ravichandran and stars himself in the title role. He also produced the film, composed the music, and edited the film. The film is a remake of the 2018 Malayalam film Joseph.
