Priyanka Chopra recently announced that she has wrapped shooting for the highly anticipated film Heads Of State. After the shoot was wrapped, she gave a special gift to her co-star, Idris Elba. Idris shared a photo of the gift and a hand-written note on his official Instagram handle.
Idris shared a photo of the gift, which was wrapped in ivory and gold paper. He tagged Priyanka on his Instagram story and thanked her for her sweet gesture. Have a look here:
Earlier, when Priyanka had announced the film’s wrap, the actress had also shared a happy video montage featuring her daughter Malti along with her crew and penned a heartwarming note expressing her love for the film.
She wrote, “And it’s a wrap. It’s been a year. well, a lot happened but here we are. Tonight I wrapped on a set that was always so full of laughter and professionalism. That rare combination doesn’t happen always… This movie was a breeze because the cast and crew came prepared with their A game, every day.”
She further added, “It’s been an honour to work with some legends in our business on this one. Hope y’all have as much fun watching it as we did making it. Heads of state will be on @primevideo… when u ask me? Above my pay grade. lol. Gratitude.”
The video featured fun BTS moments with Malti, shoot locations, and all things in between. Recently, PeeCee was speaking to Quint Neon when she was asked how she balances her work and motherhood duties. The actress shared that even she was raised by a working woman and added that it has greatly helped her take care of Malti.
“I was raised by a working mom and my mom’s sisters were working moms. Even the moms who are not working (hold a job) are working all day. Working women don’t get enough credit… you have to surround yourself with a village, you have to make sure that you find a supportive partner. I have so many people around my daughter, but I still feel guilty when I go to the set,” Priyanka said.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra was most recently seen in the romantic drama Love Again, alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. In addition, she will star in Frank E Flowers’ film, The Bluff. It will also feature Karl Urban.
Besides this, Priyanka Chopra also has a Bollywood film in her pipeline. She will soon be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Lee Zara, with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the lead. While fans are eagerly waiting for this collaboration, the film has been delayed due to reasons that aren’t known.
