Priyanka shared a picture of Parineeti and wished her on her birthday. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Priyanka Chopra shared a selfie of Parineeti Chopra. The picture showed Parineeti donning a black swimsuit and was clicked after she took a dip in the ocean. Parineeti had let her hair loose and she wore sunglasses as she enjoyed her beach holiday. Fondly calling her ‘Tisha’, Priyanka wrote, “Happy birthday Tisha. Sending you lots of love on your special day.” She also added a heart and kiss emoji along with tagging Parineeti.

Parineeti was recently in Delhi to celebrate her first Karwa Chauth with her husband and family. On the work front, she was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila where she starred alongside Diljit Dosanjh. She played the role of Chamkila’s wife, Amarjot. She has not announced any new project as of now.

This year, Parineeti headlined numerous articles because of her critically acclaimed performance in the Netflix original Amar Singh Chamkila (2024), starring opposite Diljit Dosanjh.

Earlier this year, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti talked about how getting work in Bollywood does not depend only on merit. “Getting work in Bollywood doesn’t only depend on merit or acting, you have to be in cliques and camps to get roles. I am not present at the right place at the right time. I am not getting papped every day,” she said.

She further talked about how B-town parties are a big stage for casting opportunities. “I don’t go to dinners and lunches or attend parties where work opportunities are created in Bollywood or those roles are discussed. I want directors and producers to call me for my work because I am willing to work hard,” Parineeti said.
