Ridhi Dogra's Gratitude Note For Jawan’s Director Atlee As Film Turns 1: 'Thank You For Your Faith'

Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 action thriller Jawan was a massive success, topping the list of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. Apart from SRK, Deepika Padukone, Vijay Sethupati, Nayanthara, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra played pivotal roles in the Atlee-directed film. On September 7, marking the film’s first anniversary, Ridhi Dogra took to social media to express her gratitude to the director for the unforgettable experience.

On Saturday, Ridhi shared a selfie with Atlee on her Instagram Stories, which also featured the director’s mother in the background. The popular television actress who played Azad’s (SRK) foster mother, Kaveri, wrote, “I love this photo because your mom it captures your mom smiling. @atlee47 As the film turns 1. I thank you for your faith, your patience. But more than anything as a cinema lover. Thank you for your unique brand of Cinema. Forever Fan.”

Not just Ridhi, but the other actors from the blockbuster Jawan also celebrated its one-year anniversary in their own special ways. Shah Rukh Khan, who played dual roles in the film, shared a montage highlighting several memorable moments from the movie to mark the occasion. Sharing the video, King Khan wrote, “The film that we made with a lot of heart… has turned one year ‘old’ today… or shall I say one year ‘Jawan’. Without the storytelling, skill and vision of @atlee47, this film wouldn’t have been possible and of course… massy massy massy!!! Sending my love to the team that toiled away to make this film what it is — @nayanthara @actorvijaysethupathi, @deepikapadukone, all the Chief’s girls and @redchilliesent !! Meanwhile, Nayanthara posted a still with SRK from their song Chaleya. She captioned it as “One year of Jawan,” followed by two red heart emojis and even tagged Atlee on her Instagram Stories.
