Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, Roohi has posted decent box office figures on Day 1 of its release. The horror comedy earned Rs 3.06 crore at the ticket window.

In the his review for News18, Rohit Vats wrote about Roohi, “The movie is totally about spontaneity and a solid beginning. Though both Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma are in their favourite zone, their back and forth and punchlines evoke laughs.”
Roohi is directed by Hardik Mehta. It is part of the horror comedy universe which is presented and produced by Maddock Films.
