On choosing the money bag which had 14 lakh and exiting the Bigg Boss 14 house, Rakhi Sawant had said that she will use it in her mother’s treatment. Rakhi’s mother has been diagnosed with cancer and undergoing chemotheraphy at a hospital in Mumbai.
Throughout her stint and also post her exit, Rakhi was heard saying that she is in dire need of money. Now, in a recent interview with Times Of India, she said that the reality show’s host and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has come to her rescue. She said, “Everyone now knows that my bank balance was zero because in the past few years my mother has had several surgeries. And that is why I had participated in Bigg Boss to earn some money for her treatment. Thankfully I have earned a decent amount to take care of my mom at the moment.”
She added, “But the best part is that a major part of the treatment has been taken care of by Salman Khan sir. He is really an angel for us and so is his brother Sohail Khan. Both of them are in touch with the doctor and are taking feedback of the treatment from him. What more can I ask for from the almighty. I am really blessed to have Salman sir as my brother.”
Rakhi had entered the Bigg Boss 14 house as a challenger and left the show on the finale with money bag on fifth position.
