The police have increased the security outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. Fans are prohibited from standing outside the house and clicking selfies.

The assassination of Maharashtra’s former minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique has sent shockwaves in the nation. While the murder is being investigated, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility in a Facebook post. Amidst this, actor Salman Khan’s security has been beefed up as the authorities sense danger to his life as well. A recent report has revealed that Galaxy Apartments is under heavy security and fans are prohibited from standing outside his house or clicking selfies.

As reported by The Times Of India, Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra is seeing an increase in security after Baba Siddique’s death. Police constables have been stationed outside the actor’s house and fans are not allowed to stop outside his house and click selfies or record videos like they used to previously. Along with the fans, security has also revealed that media professionals are not permitted to shoot outside the actor’s house.

The report also mentioned that a CCTV camera has been installed to track movement outside the building. Following the killing of Baba Siddique, the actor has now been provided with Y-plus security. The Mumbai police have assigned an escort vehicle to follow Khan’s car and a Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) has been stationed on duty outside his house and the Panvel farmhouse.

Earlier reports mention that Khan has cancelled all meetings and has requested his colleagues from Bollywood to not meet him for a couple of days. After the demise of the political leader, celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, and Raj Kundra among others went to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to visit the family.

The police have arrested two out of three attackers. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde confirmed that the two assailants are from Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, while the third one is on the run.
