Sanju: Presenting First Look of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Best Buddy' Vicky Kaushal from Dutt Biopic

Rajkumar Hirani, who has been treating the audience with a new poster of Sanju every day, chose 28th May to unveil the first look of actor Vicky Kaushal, who plays Sanjay Dutt's best friend in the movie. The film, which has Ranbir Kapoor portraying Dutt, traces the journey of the Khalnayak star's life right from his youth to the present.

The latest poster, tweeted by Hirani on Monday, shows Ranbir and Vicky chilling in a nightclub. Sharing the poster, Hirani wrote: "Meet Vicky Kaushal. Such a refined actor and pure joy to work with him. He plays Sanju’s best buddy. #SanjuTrailer out in 2 days on 30th May! #RanbirKapoor @vickykaushal09 #RajkumarHiraniFilms @foxstarhindi @VVCFilms."

Vicky shared the poster on his official Twitter account, too, and wrote: "Super excited to be playing the role of #Sanju’s best friend. Friendships like these are hard to find. The #SanjuTrailer is out in 2 days, on 30th May! #RanbirKapoor @RajkumarHirani #RajkumarHiraniFilms @VVCFilms @foxstarhindi"."

Written and directed by Hirani, the film will also feature Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor and Dia Mirza amongst others. Produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios, Sanju is all set to hit theatres on June 29 2018.
