Shailesh Lodha Hums Rajesh Khanna Song In New Instagram Post – Watch

Besides impressing audiences with his outstanding acting in the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Shailesh Lodha has famously explored other zones, including poetry and singing. Often, he is seen showcasing his singing talent through social media platforms. In a recent video, Lodha is seen humming an iconic Rajesh Khanna song, and fans are totally loving it. Seemingly shot on the sets of his show, Waah Bhai Waah, the actor shared the video on Instagram on Monday.

In what appears to be a BTS glimpse, Lodha remains seated on the stage as he sings Rajesh Khanna’s Zindagi Ke Safar Mein Guzar Jaate Hai song from Aap Ki Kasam. Crooned by Kishore Kumar, the original song’s music has been given by RD Burman.

While he makes all his best efforts to offer vocals to the song, Shailesh ends up coughing in between, presumably due to a sour throat. One can also see a flask in his hands, which seemingly had hot water or a drink for his coughing. With the video, he wrote, “जब लफ्ज़ ऐसे हों कि गला साथ न दे…. (When words are such that your throat doesn’t support you….)”

The post comes at a time when the TMKOC actor is slowly coming to terms with his father’s demise. His father, Shyam Singh Lodha, passed away recently in Jodhpur. In a series of emotional posts, Shailesh has been paying heartfelt tributes to his father. He wrote, “Whatever I am… I am your shadow…. Today morning’s sun brightened the world but it became dark in our life….. Father gave up his body…. If tears were the language, I could have written something.”

It is worth mentioning that Shailesh Lodha was an integral part of the famous TV show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. In media interactions, he revealed having issues with producer Asit Kumarr Modi, leading to his exit.
