Stray Kids Set The Stage On Fire With Their Performance On NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye At 50th AMAs
K-pop boy band Stray Kids recently paid tribute to American boy band NSYNC at the 50th AMAs.

K-pop boy band Stray Kids delivered an absolutely electrifying performance at the 50th American Music Awards, leaving the audience cheering for them. The group, consisting of eight members: Felix, Hyunjin, Seungmin, Lee Know, Changbin, I.N., Bang Chan and Han, not only performed their hit track Chk Chk Boom but also paid tribute to the iconic boy band NSYNC.

Stray Kids began their performance with the American band’s famous marionette choreography from their song Bye Bye Bye, which has been taking the internet by storm ever since Deadpool & Wolverine hit the theatres. Decked up in stylish outfits, Lee Know, Felix and Hyunjin first started off the group’s performance with their solo stages, which ultimately transitioned to NSYNC’s popular track. The K-pop group even remixed their hit track Chk Chk Boom from their latest album ATE with Bye Bye Bye. Their performance set the stage on fire, leaving their fans impressed with the group’s amazing choreography and stage presence.

Meanwhile, NSYNC shared a clip of Stray Kids’ performance on their official Instagram account. They wrote, “What an honor to see @realstraykids recreate the “Bye Bye Bye” marionette moment on stage tonight at the @amas! Congrats on an amazing performance #amas50.” Soon, fans began commenting on this unexpected crossover. One fan wrote, “As an elder millennial who’s a big fan of both NSYNC and Stray Kids, this made me so incredibly happy!” Another said, “The crossover we never knew we needed.”

During their interview with Billboard, Stray Kids revealed that they collaborated with NSYNC for their special Tribute to Boy Bands’ performance at the 50th AMAs. When they were asked about the experience of performing alongside the legendary American boy band, Felix said, “Just performing at the American Music Awards for the first time and doing a collaboration with NSYNC was very memorable. It was very special. We were vibing. It was great.”

On the work front, Stray Kids debuted with their mini album I Am Not in 2018 and released their ninth mini album, ATE, in July 2024, with the lead track, Chk Chk Boom. A month later, the K-pop band embarked on their dominATE world tour, which will take place across Asia, Australia, Latin America, North America, and Europe. They also sang Slash for Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine. Meanwhile, Stray Kids are also set to drop their second Japanese full-length album, GIANT, next month.
