‘Suicide Squad’ is an upcoming Hollywood movie based on DC comics that revolves around a goup of super-villains who team up. The movie that is to be released in 2016, has a stellar star-cast that includes Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto among many more.
People have been excited about Jared Leto being cast as ‘The Joker’, one of the more iconic anti-heroes in the DC Universe; but they did not seem too happy with the first look.
Discussion threads on Reddit.com have seen people complaining about the fact that this new avatar of ‘The Joker’ looks more ‘punk’ than comics have ever shown him to be.
And while Jared Leto is an exceptional actor with critically acclaimed performances, he is likely to face some really high expectations given that his predecessors have made the role so iconic.
The late Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson have previously played the role of ‘The Joker’ in Batman Movies.
