Actor Divya Seth Shah’s daughter, Mihika Shah, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 5, in Mumbai. According to sources close to the family and reported by India Today, Mihika initially developed a fever, which was followed by a seizure. The family is devastated by the unexpected loss and has scheduled a prayer meeting for August 8.
Taking to her Facebook account, Divya Seth Shah shared a note that read, “With profound sorrow, we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mihika Shah, who left for her heavenly abode on August 5th, 2024 (sic).” According to the note, the prayer meet will be held at Sindh Colony Club House in Mumbai on August 8.
Just last week, Divya shared a touching Instagram post featuring three generations of her family. The photo showed her daughter, radiant in a green dress, alongside her mother, who looked elegant in red. The image beautifully reflected the deep love and strong connection between them.
Mihika would often share photos with her parents and grandmother, Sushma Seth. In April. she had taken to Instagram to share beautiful photos from her childhood with her mom Divya on her birthday. “When I look at you, I see the purest love I’ll ever know, Every wounded soul finds their way to you, in your care they heal and grow, Divya, gods gift, my blessing from above,

Divya Seth has worked in films like Jab We Met, Dil Dhadakne Do and Article 370. Veteran actress Sushma Seth has played pivotal parts in films such as Dhadkan, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and TV series, Dekh Bhai Dekh.
