TMKOC's Gurucharan Singh UNWELL After Returning Home, Says 'Cheezen Theek Ho Rahi Hai'
Gurucharan Singh refused to talk about his disappearance and shared that they are still finishing the legal formalities.

Days after Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Gurucharan Singh returned home, it has now been reported that the actor was not keeping well for the last few days. Singh, who used to play the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi in TMKOC, was speaking to Times Now recently when he shared that he is “good” now and that things are getting better.

“My health is good. A few days ago I had a terrible headache though but it is under control now. Dheere dheere cheezen theek ho rahi hai (things are getting better to normal slowly),” Singh said. The actor also shared that he was feeling weak and had to take electrol a few days back.

Gurucharan Singh was missing since April 22 but returned to his house in New Delhi earlier this month i.e. after 26 days. Singh was interrogated by Delhi Police officials following which it was discovered that he had left home to be on a religious journey. Police officials said that Gurucharan visited Gurudwaras in Amritsar and Ludhiana ever since he was reported “missing” but he later realised that he should return home.

Singh refused to talk about his disappearance and shared that they are still finishing the legal formalities. “I want to finish a few things first before opening up about it. Ek baar ye closing ho jaye, then I will definitely talk about it,” he said.

“Whatever was pending of mine has been completed but now my father has to go and complete the formalities. The election was going on, so we thought we would wait till then. The court formalities have to be done,” the actor added.

Meanwhile, TMKOC producer Asit Kumarr Modi also talked about Singh’s return recently and said, “Ab unke mind mein kya hai woh samajh nahi sakte na (Can’t understand what is going on in his mind). We don’t know what he is feeling. I have been trying to call him, but his phone is unreachable. I want to talk to him. I wish he calls me back so I could know more.”

Gurcharan Singh played the role of Roshan Singh Sodhi — a fun-loving man who is always in party mode and never shies away from expressing love for his wife. He was one of the popular characters on the show, and also a founding cast member. Gurcharan, however, left the show in 2013 only to return next year due to public demand. After his exit in 2020, he was replaced by actor Balwinder Singh Suri.
