Varun Dhawn’s Niece Anjini Bags Role In Salman Khan’s Sikandar? Here's What We Know
Anjini Dhawan made her big-screen debut with director Ssanjay Tripaathy’s Binny And Family.

Salman Khan starrer Sikandar has been creating abuzz on social media ever since its announcement in April this year. Helmed by AR Murugadoss, known for films like Ghajini and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles. As per a recent report, a new name has been added to the cast of Salman Khan’s next film. The makers have reportedly signed Varun Dhawan’s niece Anjini.

As per a report by Mid-Day, the 24-year-old actress has landed a key role in Sikandar that requires a fresh face. Anjini Dhawan is expected to begin the filming of Sikandar soon. However, further details about her character have been kept under wraps.

Talking about the film, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s first collaboration with AR Murugadoss. The project is bankrolled by Sajid Naidadwala.

Anjini made her big-screen debut with the film Binny And Family. Directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy and produced by Mahaveer Jain Films, Binny And Family also featured Pankaj Kapur, Charu Shankar, Rajesh Kumar and Himani Shivpuri in key roles.

Binny And Family is the story of three generations of a family and their lack of communication.

Speaking about her debut film, Anjini told News18, “I was so certain that Binny And Family was the film I wanted to begin my career with since the tale was really close to me and I didn’t want to be confused.”

Talking about Salman, the superstar recently treated his Instafam with a glimpse of his intense workout session as he preps for Sikandar. In the snapshot, he showed off his muscular arms while using gym equipment.

Sikandar is set to release on Eid next year.

Salman will reportedly be seen in a guest appearance role in Varun Dhawan’s much-awaited action thriller Baby John. Directed by Kalees and produced by Atlee, the film is set to hit the theatres on the occasion of Christmas 2024.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also set to return to Bigg Boss as a host for the 18th season. The TV reality show is set to premiere on October 6. The new season promises a unique time-travel theme, as teased in a promo where Salman declares, “This time Bigg Boss will see the future.”
