Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi celebrates his 69th birthday on Thursday, August 22. The actor-cum-politician enjoys a massive fanbase across India. The credit goes to his stellar performances, energetic dance numbers and unparalleled swag. On the occasion of Chiranjeevi turning a year older, his admirers and industry friends have flooded the internet with sweet messages and greetings. Joining the bandwagon was Telugu star Venkatesh Daggubati. Underlining his strong camaraderie with the Waltair Veerayya actor, Venkatesh Daggubati shared a picture with Chiranjeevi on his Instagram Stories wishing his dear “friend” great prosperity.
“Happy Birthday my friend Chiranjeevi Konidela. Wishing you peace, health, and happiness always” read Venkatesh Daggubati’s heartfelt note. The picture captured Chiranjeevi sitting on a sofa with his legs crossed. He donned a cream-coloured kurta and paired it with white pajamas. A brown shawl was draped across his shoulders. Sharing the same frame was Venkatesh, standing behind Chiranjeevi. He wore an ivory-hued T-shirt and layered it with a beige denim jacket. The Venky Mama actor completed his look with black trousers and sunglasses. Both the actors flashed beaming smiles.
Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh Daggubati’s friendship dates back a long time. Last year when Venkatesh clocked three decades in the film industry, an event was arranged in Hyderabad. At the venue, he revealed that it was Chiranjeevi’s comeback with Khaidi 150 that inspired him to continue his journey as an actor. “I would’ve gone to the Himalayas if not for Chiranjeevi,” he admitted, as cited by The Indian Express.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s son-actor Ram Charan also wished his “Appa” (father) by sharing a photograph on Instagram. The snap showed the father-son duo twinning in ethnic ensembles. Tagging Chiranjeevi to the post, the RRR actor wrote, “Happiest birthday, Appa”.
