Actor Channing Tatum might be one of the most popular figures in Hollywood, swooning fans with her onscreen performances, but his latest confession is making everyone strongly relate to him. The actor recently admitted to hating doing his laundry, even sharing that he once ended up buying brand-new T-shirts for an entire year to avoid the chore. In an interview with GQ, the Blink Twice star shared this interesting incident.
“I had one year that I called ‘the year of the fresh white tee.’ I don’t think I did laundry all year that year. I just wore white T-shirts that I just bought. I’d be like, ‘I can get, like, two wears out of this a week,” the 44-year-old said. Recalling that it was around 1999 or 2000, Tatum called it a “beautiful year,” as he didn’t have to wash his clothes and he still had new stuff to wear every day.
To this end, he still prefers to wear “plain and tattered” white shirts, something that feels classic to him. However, his Dickies pants remain a constant favourite for Tatum. “They’re my comfort clothes. They don’t fit very well anymore. My butt’s gotten bigger. I’ll get back down to that weight,” he added. In the ’10 Things Channing Tatum Can’t Live Without,’ the actor listed some other items, including his pet dog Cutie, a Polaroid camera, Mezcal tequila, and a picture of his daughter, Everly.
Despite having chosen the most simple and plain favourite outfit, the actor seems to have elevated his style for press meets and film promotions. He is often seen in suits and blazers, looking dapper and handsome.
On The Work Front
Channing Tatum recently made a stunning appearance in Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer Deadpool & Wolverine as Gambit. While fans were super impressed with his cameo, a deleted scene now hints that he is not yet done in the MCU.
The scene confirms that Gambit survived the battle and even had a way out of the wasteland. Besides, he was also seen in the romantic-comedy film Fly Me To The Moon, opposite Scarlett Johansson.
Tatum’s most recent outing is Zoe Kravitz’s directorial Blink Twice. The #MeToo-themed psychological thriller is receiving a mixed reception from audiences.
