When Goldy Brar Issued Open Threat To Salman Khan After Sidhu Moose Wala's Death: 'We Will Kill Him'
Last year, Goldy Brar had threatened to kill Salman Khan after Sidhu Moose Wala's barbaric murder.

Early on April 14, shots were fired outside Salman Khan’s Mumbai home. The event happened at approximately 4:55 am, according to initial CNN-News18 reports, involving two individuals on a motorcycle who discharged three shots into the air. While the actor is safe, this is one of the many threats Khan has received in the last few months. In June 2023, Salman Khan had received a death threat from Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar, who had openly said that the Bollywood superstar is on his gang’s kill list.

In an interview with India Today channel, Goldy Brar, alleged mastermind in Sidhu Moosewala killing, said that his gang will “definitely kill” Salman. “We will kill him, we will definitely kill him. Bhai saheb (Lawrence) had stated that he wouldn’t apologise. Baba will show mercy only when he feels merciful,” Brar said, referring to jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s interview where he said that killing Salman Khan was his “life goal”.

Brar continued, “Like we have said earlier, it’s not just about Salman Khan. We will continue our attempts against all our enemies as long as we’re alive. Salman Khan is our target, there’s no doubt about that. We’ll keep trying, and when we succeed, you’ll know.”

For the unaware, the Canadian government named Satinder Singh Brar, nicknamed Goldy Brar, among the country’s top 25 wanted criminals in 2023. The Punjab-origin affiliate of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang is wanted by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for murder, according to the ‘Bolo (Be On the Lookout) Programme’ list issued. The 29-year-old, who reached Canada on a student visa in 2017, allegedly claimed responsibility for the murder of Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, who was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.

Salim Khan has reacted to the gunshots that were fired at Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai. Speaking with CNN News18, Salim Khan said there is nothing to worry. “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry,” he said. Salman Khan is yet to address fans about the firing.

For the unversed, in the wee hours of Sunday, April 14, gunfire was reported outside Salman’s house, Galaxy Apartments, in Mumbai. CNN News18 had reported that two people riding a bike fired gun shots outside his apartment on Sunday morning.

It was reported that three shots were fired in the air. Following the incident, the security around Salman’s house has tightened. A case has been registered against the unknown individuals in connection to the firing. Police sources said a 7.62 weapon was used in the firing. The bikers headed to the Western Express Highway, sources said, adding that there is a possibility that the men would have moved outside Mumbai. Police sources added that the shooters are from outside Maharashtra. Mumbai Police have initiated efforts to nab the culprits by examining CCTV footage.
