Alia Bhatt Reveals Her First Crush in Viral Interview And No, It Is NOT Her Husband Ranbir Kapoor

Alia Bhatt has time and again said that actor Ranbir Kapoor, her husband, has been her childhood crush. The actors eventually worked in Brahmastra where they fell in love and eventually married in 2022. However, in an interview in August, Alia revealed Ranbir wasn’t her first crush. Her first crush was a superstar who has been breaking box office records this year.

In a conversation with InStyle magazine, Alia was asked who her first celebrity co-star was. Alia said, “Shah Rukh Khan.” Alia had previously revealed that she has been crushing over Shah Rukh Khan for years. The actress, in an appearance on Koffee With Karan with SRK, confessed her love for him. At the time, she said that even if she had a boyfriend, she would not stop crushing over Shah Rukh.

“Even if I was dating anybody, it’s okay to fine other men attractive. Especially if the man is Shah Rukh. Since I’ve known him, I have always loved him,” Alia said. Karan Johar added, “I know. You have been crushing over him since the beginning.” “In the biggest way,” Alia replied.

Alia and Shah Rukh share a wholesome bond. The actors have starred together in Dear Zindagi (2016). Last year, when Alia welcomed her daughter, Raha, Shah Rukh gave her and the little one an adorable shoutout. During an Ask SRK session, a fan asked him why Alia calls him just SR. “Could mean sweet& romantic or maybe senior & respected or maybe just shah rukh,” Shah Rukh replied. Alia revealed the real meaning behind it. “More like sweet and respected :)” she said and added that she was going to call him Pathaan owing to his blockbuster film. “Done lil one. And I am now going to call u lil Amma Bhatt Kapoor!” he replied.
