Alia Bhatt is set to make a surprising revelation on Koffee With Karan 8. The actress, who will be appearing on the Karan Johar show with Kareena Kapoor, will reportedly talk about motherhood and her marriage. As we know, Alia welcomed her daughter Raha last year with Ranbir Kapoor. While she has kept the little one away from the media spotlight, she is reportedly opening up about having a baby at home in the KWK episode. As per a new report, Alia is set to reveal that due to the baby, she and Ranbir often end up in playful fights.
As reported by Pinkvilla, Alia says on the show, “Sometimes, we fight at home for Raha. It’s like now you have her, now give me.” Kareena, who is Ranbir’s cousin and a mother of two, weighs in to suggest that the couple has one more baby. “That’s the cue to have another one, maybe, so both of you can have one each,” Bebo cheekily says.
Karan Johar dropped the new promo of the show on Monday. The promo revealed that besides Alia talking about motherhood, the women discuss about competition in the industry. As part of the round, Karan asked Kareena if she considers Deepika as a competition. Bebo got savage with her response.
“Do you consider Deepika Padukone as competition?” Karan asked Kareena. The Laal Singh Chadha star replied, “I think this is Alia’s question for her rapid fire, not for me.” While Alia sported a smile on her face, Karan quipped, “Aa gayi na line pe.”
The host also directed a question about Ameesha Patel to Kareena, which she decided to ignore. “Why didn’t you attend the Gadar 2 success party?” Karan asked, poking fun at Kareena. “Because you and Ameesha Patel have such history,” he added. When Kareena asked him what he was referring to, Karan reminded her, “You were meant to do Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.” Kareena turned her head away from Karan, looked at the audience seated in the room and said, “I’m ignoring Karan, as you’ll can see.”
The new episode of Koffee With Karan 8 will drop at midnight on Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar.
