He was then a newcomer and I was almost one, being just a few films old. Yes I am talking of my dear friend Shatrughan Sinha who celebrates his birthday today. Wish you a very happy, healthy, joyous birthday dear Shatru with many more lovely years to come! Our journey in life and in films has been long and eventful, sometimes on the same page, many times as parallel lines but always side by side as good friends, though we now follow different ideologies. I pray that our friendship and our caring for each other lasts always.”

From acting in multi-starrer movies to establishing himself as action hero, he acted in quite a number of movies that received both critical acclamations and audience support.
His dialogue ‘Khamosh’ is still widely popular among movie buffs. According to reports, the actor has been part of more than 80 films in his career till now.
After his successful stint in Indian cinema, Shatrughan shifted to politics. During his journey in Hindi Cinema, Shatrughan’s pairing with Amitabh Bachchan, gained immense popularity. On the occasion of Shatrughan Sinha’s birthday, let’s take a look at the films in which the legendary actors have worked together.
Earlier this year, his son Luv Sinha had shared what he learnt from his father, ““There were times when he had to choose either travelling by bus for his meetings or save the money for food. Sometimes he would eat and walk miles and sometimes, to save time, he would let go of food. There were times when he was at his peak that our house, even though small at that time, was filled with people. And then when his films were not working, no one would be around. I have seen both the rise and the fall, closely,” he stated.
He also added that Shatrughan Sinha’s family had a lot of hopes from him and the superstar did not want to ever return as a failure.
