Kajol called Karan Johar ‘highly unprofessional’ for picking up Ranveer Singh’s call while she and Rani Mukerji were there on the sets of Koffee With Karan 8. It is no secret that Kajol and Rani will be seen on the show. Fans are already preparing for Kajol and Karan’s banter sessions. While the episode drops at midnight on Thursday, a report has now surfaced which revealed Kajol ‘screamed’ at Karan for getting on a call with Ranveer while the ladies waited.
In a report published by Pinkvilla, Karan claimed Kajol ‘screamed’ at him for ‘no reason’. “Already when we started, Rani said ‘Why did you pick up Ranveer Singh’s call? We are here.’ You screamed at him for no reason,” he said. Kajol clarified, “Not screamed at him for no reason, we are both waiting for you to put the phone down to start the show. That’s a bit much, it’s highly unprofessional. I just want to tell you that. FYI. And I said bye very sweetly.” Karan added, “But obviously, he was looking hot!”
The promo of the upcoming Koffee With Karan episode had already revealed that Kajol was in her best spirits. While she spoke about Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Ghum with Karan and Rani, she was also seen jokingly threatening to walk out of the episode.
Rani and Kajol appeared to be participating in the rapid fire round of Koffee With Karan 8 when Kajol declared her walk out. “I can’t take it anymore,” she announced as she pretended to get angry and got up from the couch. “I am staging a walk out right now,” Kajol said before announcing, “Cut!”
Kajol and Rani have been on the show in the past. They appeared on the show with Shah Rukh Khan, kicking off the second season of KWK. However, this is the first time that it will just be the cousins together.
