Karan Johar Gets Brutally Trolled As He Attends Kartik Aaryan's Birthday: 'Isko Kyu Bulaya?'

Kartik Aaryan hosted a mega birthday bash in Mumbai on Wednesday night. Among others, the star-studded party was also attended by filmmaker Karan Johar, who had reportedly not invited Kartik for his mega 50th birthday bash. This has left SatyaPrem Ki Katha actor’s fans disappointed.

Karan Johar was snapped by the paparazzi as he arrived for Kartik Aaryan’s birthday bash on Wednesday night. In a video that surfaced on social media, the filmmaker was seen posing for paps as he looked dapper in a black leather jacket. However, soon after a video of KJo was shared online, several social media users reacted to it and trolled the director-producer. “Wow the hypocrisy n audacity of this man,” one of the comments read. Another user wrote, “Ye isko kyu bulaya yaar”.

Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar’s Fallout

In 2021, Kartik Aaryan was dropped from Karan Johar’s Dostana 2. The film was supposed to feature Kartik alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Even though the shooting of the movie had already begun, Kartik was removed from it. The rumours about Kartik’s “unprofessional” behaviour upsetting Karan Johar surfaced online. Later, Kartik talked about the fiasco and told E-Times, “I believe in what my mother has taught me and these are my value too… when there’s an altercation between two people, the younger one should never speak about it. I follow that and hence I never speak about it.”

Meanwhile, Karan Johar on Wednesday took to his official Instagram account to announce a movie with Kartik on the actor’s 33rd birthday. The film will be co-produced by Ekta Kapoor. Sharing the announcement on social media, Karan Johar wrote, “Kickstarting today with some special news on a special day! Extremely thrilled to announce @dharmamovies and @balajimotionpictures coming together for a film helmed by the exceptionally talented @sandeipm. I find myself elated to also announce the supremely talented @kartikaaryan as our lead for this story that will unfold in cinemas on 15th August, 2025!
