Karan Johar On Fight With Ajay Devgn, Kajol: 'He Must Have Had A Troubled Time With His Own Wife...'

Karan Johar recently had Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty as guests on the latest episode of Koffee with Karan. In the show, Ajay and Karan talked about their past feud, which caused a long-lasting rift between them. The conflict arose from the simultaneous release of Ajay’s film Shivaay and Karan’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in theaters, leading to a misunderstanding that kept them from speaking to each other for years.

During the quick question round on the show, Karan asked Ajay about his former ‘sworn enemy’ in the film industry. Ajay laughed and replied, “Once upon a time, it was you,” surprising Karan. Later, Karan brought up their past disagreement and said that Ajay had been “gracious” enough to move past it and never look back. “Whatever the altercation was, and it was misunderstanding, misconception, we didn’t speak, Kajol and I didn’t speak. I’m sure he must have had a troubled time with his own wife because we are such close friends but he really was very gracious. We were in the same studio and I said I want to meet him because he was there and he agreed to meet me immediately,” Karan remembered.

Karan shared that he went to Ajay’s van, and the actor quickly suggested they not talk about things and just move on from the incident. “He said ‘let’s not talk about anything. You are close to Kajol. We are one industry and we should…’ And it took a minute for us to go back to normalcy,” Karan recalled. Ajay added, “It’s a very short life. You can’t… whoever is wrong or right, me, you… doesn’t matter. Just move on.”

On the work front, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in Singham 3, aka Singham Again. He will also be seen with Tabu in a film titled Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. Writer and director Neeraj Pandey’s film will release in theatres on 26th April 2024.
