Along with his post, Mahesh Babu emphasised the advantages of stretching and revealed the secret behind his fitness.

Mahesh Babu has time and again impressed us with his impeccable acting prowess. Apart from his noteworthy performances, the 48-year-old is also known for executing terrific action sequences. And the secret behind the actor’s applaud-worthy stunts is his strict fitness regimen. The fact that Mahesh Babu is a hardcore fitness enthusiast is quite evident from his social media posts, where he often drops glimpses of engaging in rigorous workouts. In fact, his fitness trainer Kumar Mannava once revealed that Mahesh Babu is a deft follower of performing stretching exercises. It improves the actor’s flexibility and enables him to carry out difficult stunts.

Proving the words of Kumar Mannava true, Mahesh Babu today, September 15, shared a picture of himself on Instagram, where he was seen performing a stretching exercise. Along with the post, the Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor also explained the benefits of the stretching in the caption. “The super stretch. Opens the hips, spinal column and shoulders at the same time. Movement is medicine,” he wrote.

The picture captured Mahesh Babu grasping the back of his head with the palm of his hands. He was in a half-seated posture, leaning in on the nearby wall for support. The actor’s face was turned away from the camera. Mahesh Babu was dressed in athleisure, donning a half-sleeved navy blue shirt and a pair of black Bermuda shorts. He rounded off his gym-ready look with uber-cool sneakers and a watch.

Mahesh Babu fans were quick to mark their presence in the comment section. While one of them rightly called the actor a “fitness freak” another labelled him as the “Hardest worker in the room.” “We need this kinda post from you sir The secrets of no aging is finally being revealed,” noted a third individual.

Back in July, Mahesh Babu dropped another video on Instagram where he was recorded sweating it out at the gym. From running on the treadmill to executing kettlebell swings and doing a landmine press quite adeptly, Mahesh Babu performed a variety of exercises. Take a look at the video below:

On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in the film Sarkaru Vaari Paata which received mixed responses. Presently, he is geared up for director Trivikram Srinivas’ upcoming film Guntur Kaaram. The film will hit the big screens on January 12, 2024. Mahesh Babu has also been roped in for filmmaker SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project, tentatively titled SSMB29.
