Miley Cyrus recently celebrated her 31st birthday in a special way. She treated herself along with close friends and family to an intimate performance at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel. The singer, known for hits like Used to Be Young and Wrecking Ball, marked the occasion by delivering a live performance of her popular track, Flowers, for the first time. Miley encouraged the audience participation as she engaged with them in singing along and added playful improvisations. The performance also featured covers like Journey’s faithfully. The talented artist was joined by pop artist Ryan Beatty and her boyfriend Maxx Morando.
Interestingly, this special event became her rare live performance, as she had previously expressed no intentions of touring in support of her album, Endless Summer Vacation. Sharing the post on Instagram, the singer wrote, “My birthday gift to MYSELF this year was VERY on brand. I performed for MYSELF and sang my favorite songs including my own. First “live” performance of Flowers was to an audience full of my friends and family. Taking this song back to the seed… she sprouted sensationally. Grateful for the growth in us both.”
