Salman Khan Gets Candid About '2-3 Hero Films', Says 'Younger Generation Doesn't Want To Do Them'
Salman Khan shared his thoughts on acting in multi starrer films and explained how they are more profitable.

Salman Khan left his mark at the box office with the release of his much-awaited Tiger 3. With its phenomenal opening collections of 44.50 Cr., the film emerged as the best Diwali day opener so far at the box office. Moreover, the audience also got to witness Salman Khan’s best performance of his career in the film. The actor recently opened up about the concept of ‘multi-hero films’.

Speaking with the entertainment portal Zoom, Salman Khan shared, “When we were growing up we did all double heroes. I keep on saying this jab mera ek time pe aesa hua tha k, ‘Log nahi arahe picture dekhne mein (when this happened to me ‘people aren’t watching my film). Sunny Deol saab kidhar hai chadh jao, Sanjay Dutt saab kidhar hai chadh jao (Let me work with Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt sir). Yeh do heroes the, unke fans, humare fans (There were two heroes, their fans, my fans), when they see us together the collections is almost double and more.”

He added, “I worked with (inaudible), I worked with Sanjay Kapoor as well, Anil Kapoor. I worked with everyone. This younger generation doesn’t want to do it for some strange reason. I think it’s a d*** good thing that you get to work with Shah Rukh (Khan) again. If Aamir (Khan) does some other kind of spy verse then you get to work with Aamir as well, I worked with Aki (Akshay Kumar). Ya, I worked with everyone basically. I think the films I’ve done with two and three heroes like No Entry, Anil (Kapoor), myself and Fardeen (Khan) they were all been super duper hits. The journey also is fantastic, that 100-50 days that you spend on set is a lot of fun.”

Salman Khan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release, Tiger 3. As of today, the movie is the fourth-highest grosser in 2023. It also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in an important role. Directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra, the film is surely living up to the popularity of its last two installments. With the box office success, Salman Khan has surely maintained his stature as one of the superstars in the industry. Interestingly, the actor himself does not want to recognise him to be a superstar.
