SRK Meets Ranveer Singh For FIRST TIME Since Don 3 Replacement; Here's What Happened Next

Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh met in public for the first time after it was announced that the latter will be the new Don. On Tuesday night, SRK and Ranveer made their way to the Ambani Ganpati puja at Antilia with their respective families. While Shah Rukh was seen with Gauri, daughter Suhana and son AbRam, Ranveer attended the puja with Deepika Padukone. In an inside video shared by a paparazzo, Ranveer was seen approaching SRK at the puja.

The Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani and Jawan actors met with a hug and exchanged pleasantries in the video. Besides meeting SRK, Ranveer also greeted his Cirkus co-star Pooja Hedge. Shah Rukh was also seen greeting Deepika in the video. The video went on to show Ranveer and Shah Rukh joining the Ambani family for the Ganpati puja. Watch the video below:

Last month, Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram and confirmed that Shah Rukh is not returning to the franchise. He added that Ranveer Singh will be replacing SRK as Don in Don 3.

“The time has now come to take the legacy of Don forward and joining us in this new interpretation will be an actor whose talent and versatility I have long admired. We hope that you will show him the love you have so graciously and generously shown to Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. A new era of Don begins in 2025,” he said, confirming Shah Rukh’s exit and Ranveer’s additon to the universe.

Following the announcement, Ranveer Singh took to Instagram and promised to make Shah Rukh and Amitabh proud. “I understand what a great responsibility it is to be a part of the ‘Don’ dynasty. I hope the audience gives me a chance and showers me with love, the way they have for numerous characters over the past so many years. Thank you Farhan and Ritesh for entrusting me with this honourable mantle and believing in me. I hope I can deliver on your faith and conviction. My two supernovas, The Big B and SRK, I hope I can make you proud. And my beloved audience, as always, I promise you…that I will do my very best to entertain you…in and as…’Don’. Thank you for your love,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is yet to react to Ranveer being roped in as the new Don.
