AIMA MAT: Candidates interested in appearing for the MAT December 2023 must make sure to check the exam schedule and last dates to apply for them

The All India Management Association (AIMA) has issued the AIMA MAT December 2023 schedule, and applicants interested in applying for the Management Aptitude Test for the December 2023 phase can do so via mat.aima.in. The All India Management Association administers the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) at the national level for admissions to PG management courses such as MBA and PGDM. With over 600 B-schools recognising its results, the MAT is one of the most widespread MBA entrance tests in India.

Applications for the MAT are open to candidates who have earned their degree in any subject, provided they meet the qualifying requirements. Students in their last year of undergraduate (UG) programmes can also register for the test.

Step 1: Go to mat.aima.in, the official website of MAT.

Step 2: Navigate to the “MAT Registration – Dec 2023” section on the website.

Step 3: Log in and finish the registration procedure.

Step 4: Fill out the MAT December 2023 application online.

Step 5: Upload the relevant documents and choose your top five institutes.

Step 6: Submit the MAT application fee and send in the completed application form.

Step 7: Download and print the MAT application confirmation for future records.

The IBT, CBT, and PBT require an application registration fee of Rs. 2100 to be paid. On the other hand, those applying for double papers need to pay a registration fee of Rs. 3300.

AIMA MAT December 2023: Exam pattern

The MAT test is divided into five components, each of which is meant to evaluate different skills and knowledge areas. The Language Comprehension part assesses a candidate’s ability to understand and interpret written content. The Quantitative Ability component tests mathematical and analytical abilities, whereas the Data Analysis and Sufficiency section tests one’s ability to effectively analyse and comprehend data. Candidates’ logical and reasoning abilities are evaluated in the Intelligence and Critical Reasoning part. The Indian and Global Environment portion assesses applicants’ understanding of current world trends, as well as their general knowledge.
