All Indian agencies have been asked to go “full throttle” in gathering details and inputs of Pakistan’s illicit activities, including terror backing and financing, which shall be compiled and presented by New Delhi at global forums to expose Islamabad, sources told News18.

Following a high-level meeting where the heads of all agencies were present, the personnel and forces were asked to gather information, starting with NGOs, pressure groups, key handlers, terror outfits working against India and other countries and the radicalization in madrasas of Pakistan.

More importantly, unlike the system of sharing routine inputs, intelligence agencies, investigation units and forces have been asked to provide information in a specific format given by the government.

A senior official told News18 that the details will help the government establish links between different Pakistani agencies, madrassas, clerics, NGOs and the terrorist groups targeting Afghanistan and India. This evidence may be tabled at various global summits, sources said.

The focus, particularly, would be on instances of mass radicalisation in mosques and madrasas of Pakistan, youth training centres, misuse of NGOs and civil society groups raising funds for terror activities.

Indian intelligence agencies have been tasked with gathering details about Pakistani cadre of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and ISIS groups operating in Pakistan, Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir and Afghanistan.

Sources told News18 that agencies have also been directed to collect and share details of meetings between top leaders of various terror outfits and the Pakistan government machinery.

Agencies will also work on getting details to unearth links between Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Jamaat-Ul-Ahrar (JUA) with the Pakistani establishment along with details of collaboration between the leaders and cadre of Al Qaeda, LeT, JeM, Haqqani Network and the Taliban.

Meanwhile, agencies have started working on gathering details from the PoK region, including the estimated number of new trainees who have joined terror groups working from there.

Amid multiple inputs of Pakistan-based terror outfits planning attacks in India, agencies and forces, with help from counterparts of other nations, will also be working to plug new drugs and weapon-trafficking routes charted by Pakistan. Investigation agencies have been tasked with finding out possible manufacturing hubs from where the handlers start the journey to smuggle drugs and weapons into India.
