MS Dhoni’s ‘perfect’ response to a fan about ‘supporting’ a different club in the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going viral on social media.
Dhoni has been associated with CSK since IPL got underway, captaining them to five titles since 2008.
Thanks to his storied career at international level and in the IPL, the legendary captain has gained a massive following.

During a fan interaction, a Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fan made a request to Dhoni.
“I want you to come support us and win one trophy for us” the fan said.
To this, the former Indian skipper said that he wishes the best of luck for all the participating teams.
And added, “Imagine me trying to come out of the way to support or help some other team how will our fans feel you know, how will you feel?”

Dhoni will be turning out for CSK at the upcoming IPL season one more time.
Having won the crown in 2023, the skipper feels he’s got another season left in him before calling it quits.
Dhoni is one of the most decorated players in IPL history, playing the tournament’s final a total of 10 times with CSK while winning on five occasions.
The previous season’s final saw his side clash against then-defending champions Gujarat Titans.
While playing at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, CSK required 10 runs off two deliveries. Ravindra Jadeja provided the finishing touches hitting a six and then a four to seal a record-equalling fifth IPL crown for Chennai.
