Following the dismal show in the ODI World Cup where Pakistan lost five of their nine matches and finished fifth, the Pakistan cricket board overhauled the national team, with Babar Azam resigning as captain of all three formats.

Team director Mickey Arthur and head coach Grant Bradburn have been removed from their positions with former skipper Mohammad Hafeez taking over both their roles.

However, the new video of Sarafaraz and Shakeel having a heated argument is going to make things a lot harder for the new management ahead of the mega Test series.

In the video, Shakeel was heard saying,” “For how long will I continue to be of use to you?”

To which Sarfaraz replied, “You won’t be of any use to me. To begin with, I never instructed you to do anything. I never requested you to make a swap. I swapped with the person I intended to.”

Shakeel countered and said, “You still made the swap, so I was beneficial to you.”

Earlier, the two also had a moment during the intra-squad of the Pakistan team before travelling Down Under for the three-match Test series. The former Pakistan captain appealed for a timed-out dismissal when Shakeel entered the middle a bit late. However, they didn’t make much fuss about it Shakeel continued to bat.

Pakistan have performed poorly in Australia, however, losing 14 Tests on the trot with a last success in 1995.

The series starts with the first Test in Perth (December 14-18) followed by the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne (26-30) and Sydney (January 3-7).
