The admit card for the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Preliminary Examination, 2023, was issued by the West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) on December 1. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can visit the official website of the official website at wbpsc.gov.in and download the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) prelim examination admit card 2023. Participants are required to key in their enrollment number and date of birth or enter their first name and date of birth to access the hall tickets.
It is further to be noted that the West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) Preliminary Examination, 2023, is slated to be held on December 16. However, it was initially scheduled to be held on November 5 but was deferred by the commission. The WBCS examination is set to be conducted from noon to 2:30 PM at different venues in Kolkata and outlying centres.
“The candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Cards for the exam and take a printout thereof. Candidates are directed to carry two copies of identical stamp size photographs along with the proof of any photo identity, in original, such as Madhyamik or equivalent certificate bearing photograph or Driving License or PAN Card or Passport or EPIC (Voter Identity) Card and the printout of e-Admit Card at the venue of the Examination,” read the official notification.
WBCS Prelims Admit Card 2023: Steps To Download
Step 1: Go to the official portal of the West Bengal Public Service Commission at wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the admit card link that reads, “WEST BENGAL CIVIL SERVICE (EXE.) ETC. (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2023 (ADVT. NO. 01/2023)” on the homepage.
Step 3: Key in your login credentials such as enrollment number and date of birth for further process
Step 4: Submit and the WBCS Prelims Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5: Cross-check all the information mentioned on the hall ticket
Step 6: Download the e-Admit Cards and take a printout thereof.
WBCS Prelims 2023: Selection Procedure
The West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) exam selection process comprises two parts: a written examination and a personality test. The written examination is set to be held in two stages. Firstly, there will be a preliminary examination (objective-based multiple-choice questions) for 200 marks for two and a half hours. Then, a main examination will be conducted, which will have both objective MCQ-type and conventional-type questions.
