New Delhi: The Indian Olympic Association is convening an emergency meeting on Friday to discuss Suresh Kalmadi involvement in a host of scams during the Commonwealth Games organised in India in 2010. The sports body is under pressure from the International Olympic Council to take action against the former Commonwealth Games chief.
The IOC has threatened to take action against Kalmadi if the IOA remained passive on the issue.
Faced with intense pressure from the International Olympic Council to act against Kalmadi, the IOA called an emergency meeting of its executive board in New Delhi on March 2 to discuss the issue.
