Delhi: Congress workers protest over support to AAP
Congress workers protested against the party's support to AAP at DPCC office in New Delhi.

New Delhi: Congress workers on Monday protested at the party office in Delhi over its decision to give outside support to the Aam Aadmi Party yo form the government in Delhi.

The protesters raised slogans 'Anna ke sath dhokha, hum nahi denge Kejriwal ko mauka (Anna betrayed, we won't give a chance to Kejriwal' demanding the immediate withdrawal of Conbgress support to AAP.

They were demanding a meeting with newly-appointed DPCC chief Arvinder Singh Lovely and Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.

AAP on Monday ended the 15-day long speculation over the next government in Delhi by staking claim and announcing Kejriwal as the Chief Minister designate.

After surprising everyone with its spectacular political debut, AAP announced its decision to accept Congress's outside support to form a minority government in Delhi. The decision came after a 5-day long exercise in which the party returned to the electorate with an unofficial referendum on whether to form a government or not.
