Bangalore: Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik who was thrown out of the BJP in less than five hours of his induction is now an angry man. Muthalik is contesting from two Lok Sabha seats, Dharwad and Bangalore South.

Muthalik who hit national headlines in early 2009 after he and his party's activists attacked young women at a pub in Mangalore is taking on BJP national general Secretary Ananth Kumar in Bangalore South. He suspects Ananth Kumar's hand in his removal from the BJP. He now wants to take revenge by splitting some of his votes.

Interestingly he is also facing Nandan Nilekani of the Congress in Bangalore South. If Muthalik manages to take away votes from Ananth Kumar, it will benefit Nilekani. In Dharwad, Muthalik is facing state BJP chief Prahlad Joshi. Joshi was instrumental in taking Muthalik into the BJP. Joshi is seeking his third term and facing a formidable Congress candidate and MLA Vinay Kulkarni. Joshi fears that Muthalik might split his votes indirectly helping the Congress to win.

What's your reaction?
