New Delhi: A day after the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati virtually 'bulldozed' through the opposition to get the resolution passed to split the state into four, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has hit the campaign trail.
Rahul will on Tuesday kick off his first phase of public contact programme or Jan Sampark Abhiyan from Barabanki.
Two groups within the Congress party have clashed at Rahul's 'Jan Sampark Abhiyaan', according to reports.
His five-day tour would culminate into a public rally in Kushinagar on November 26.
After launching a no-holds barred attack on Mayawati and Samajwadi Party in Phulpur, Rahul will be making another attempt to reach out to the people of UP, the state that's gearing up for polls early next year. He will be addressing district level public meetings in the 6 districts.
