New Delhi: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will be continuing his rally through poll-bound Uttar Pradesh on Friday. He will be addressing meetings in Chitrakoot and Kaushambi. On Thursday, he had to abruptly conclude his speech, after being heckled on the black money issue.
Supporters of yoga guru Baba Ramdev disrupted a rally of Rahul Gandhi in Banda in Uttar Pradesh.
Following the disruption, clashes broke out between the supporters of Baba Ramdev and Congress workers.
The situation worsened after the clashes compelling the Congress general secretary to leave the rally mid way.
This comes days after some alleged supporters of Ramdev blackened a poster of Congress president Sonia Gandhi in front of the AICC headquarters in New Delhi.
