54. Rajim is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Chhattisgarh and is part of Mahasamund Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Rajim falls in Gariaband district and Central region of Chhattisgarh. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,11,908 voters in the seat, which includes 1,04,979 male voters, and 1,06,926 female voters. In the 2018 Chhattisgarh elections, Rajim recorded a voter turnout of 82.86%. In 2013 the turnout was 81.51%, and in 2008 it was 74.79%.
In 2013, Santosh Upadhyay of BJP won the seat by a margin of 2,441 votes (1.58%). Santosh Upadhyay secured 44.96% of the total votes polled.
