New Delhi: The Congress on Saturday hit back at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal saying former chief minister Sheila Dikshit had performed her responsibilities with honesty and she didn't do anything wrong. "We are not scared of Kejriwal, Let him do whatever he wants. Sheila Dikshit had performed her responsibilities with honesty and she didn't do anything wrong," said Congress leader Rashid Alvi.
His statement came minutes after Kejriwal said that his government will root out corruption by taking action against the corrupt and dared the Congress to withdraw support to his government. "Congress will regret giving support to us when probe will be ordered on Commonwealth Games scam," he said dismissing reports that he was scared of losing his post.
Alvi added, "Nothing is new in his statement. He has said this so many times."
The Aam Aadmi Party which formed the government in Delhi with the outside support of Congress had stressed in its poll manifesto that if the party comes to power then a probe would be ordered into allegations of corruption against Sheila Dikshit.
However, rebel AAP leader Vinod Kumar Binny had accused Kejriwal of not initiating any probe against Sheila Dikshit as he was close to her son and Congress MP Sandeep Dikshit.
