Apple offering free replacement of faulty cameras in iPhone 6 Plus
Apple has posted a tool on its website for users to drop in the serial number of their iPhone 6 Plus to check if their device is eligible for the free replacement.

New Delhi: If you own an iPhone 6 Plus and are distressed with its camera’s functionality, don’t worry because Apple has got you covered.

The tech giant has acknowledged that a small percentage of its latest iPhone 6 Plus smartphones, sold between September and January, have faulty iSight cameras that result in blurry images.

A report on Cnet says that the tech giant is replacing the faulty cameras for free. It has also posted a tool on its website for users to drop in the serial number of their iPhone 6 Plus to check if their device is eligible for the free replacement.

If your device is eligible, all you got to do is take your iPhone 6 Plus to an Apple store or to an authorised service provider and get it replaced.

The iPhone 6 Plus went for sale late last year and has been cited for its high-quality photo-taking skills with its 8-megapixel iSight camera having f/2.2 aperture. The tech giant is expected to introduce a new iPhone in September.
