Apple recently released a list of the most downloaded content from its Apple store in India. Here is an insight into the list:
At the iPhone front, ‘Prisma’ bagged the first place by being the most downloaded app followed by the health and fitness app - ‘Fitso’ at the second place.
At the same time, gamers can relate to ‘Clash Royale’ becoming the most downloaded game of 2016 for iPhones. ‘Chameleon Run’ was the runner-up in this category.
For Apple iPad, ‘Sketchbook motion’ fetched the maximum downloads while ‘Easy Music’, a music app for beginners bagged the second place.
‘Severed’ was the most downloaded game on iPad and ‘Oz: Broken Kingdom’ came in close at a second place.
In the fierce competition amongst the apps lined up for Apple TV, ‘Hotstar’ secured the first place while ‘ErosNow’ got the second highest downloads.
Games which were downloaded by majority users on Apple TV were ‘Riptide GP: Renegade’; ‘Minecraft: Story Mode’ and ‘BADLAND 2’ in the order of their download hits.
Apple Watch saw ‘Seven 7 Minute Workout Training’ as the most downloaded app and ‘Field Day’ as the game with the highest downloads.
Apple's built-in instant messaging (IM) service, iMessage, had ‘Bobble Keyboard’, ‘iTranslate’, ‘Dubsmash’ and ‘Shazam’ as the most downloaded apps while ‘GamePigeon’, ‘Words With Friends’, ‘Battle Bash’ became the most downloaded games on the platform.
Pritam’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Amit Trivedi - ‘Udta Punjab’ topped the charts in the Music category and movies like ‘Sultan’, ‘Sairat’, ‘Kapoor and Sons’ (Since 1921) and ‘Deadpool’ got the maximum downloads in the respective order.
Most downloaded stickers were that of ‘Angry Birds’, ‘Mickey & Friends’ and ‘Mr Bean’.
