New Delhi: Adding to its Marathon series of battery-focused smartphones, Gionee has introduced its latest Marathon M5 Plus that comes with a whopping 5020mAh battery with a smart power consumption system that is claimed to offer up to 21 hours of talk time.
The Marathon M5 Plus features a metallic design and a 2.5D curved edge 6-inch FHD AMOLED display. Under its hood is a 1.3 Ghz octa-core processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM.
The phone is powered by Android Lollipop 5.1 with Amigo 3.1 custom skin layered atop. With a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front snapper, the phone includes 64 GB of internal storage.
Other than the highlight of a powerful battery that comes with dual charging chip, the phone further offers different power modes, including the Eco Mode, Power Saving Mode, and Extreme Mode for optimised usage.
The M5 Plus is 4G/VoLTE enabled and comes with USB Type-C port for charging and output. It further features a fingerprint sensor and comes with an in-built 3 card slot design for memory extension or SIM, and supports dual-SIM.
The phone is available in Champagne Gold and Polar Gold colour choices at a price of Rs 26,999, at offline retail stores and exclusively on Flipkart.
