Google Has Taken This BIG Call To Avoid Major AI Problem In 2024: Know More
Google AI Bard has got a limited roll out so far and the company wants to ensure how its AI responds to queries on the elections.

Google has been slow with its moves in the AI arena, for which, the company says it wants to be careful of how its AI operates, responds and behaves with the public. And now, Google is keen to put a tight leash over how its AI chatbot Bard will respond to queries related to the big US Elections 2024.

That’s not all, Google is also making sure the AI search version is offering accurate responses rather than sharing fake details related to the upcoming elections in the United States and India as well.

Google is likely to bring these changes early 2024 as it prepares to handle other political-related operations like ads that become extremely popular during these events. Google will warrant these ads to have disclosures, labels for AI-generated content.

Google is clearly taking heed of the possible impact or problem that AI solutions can cause in the coming months. The search and AI giant not only has to safeguard the users from manipulation but it seems recent episodes with AI have sent the warning bells over California and rightly so. Microsoft is one of the bigger AI fishes these days because of its integration with ChatGPT for Bing AI, now called Copilot.

It has been allegedly disseminating wrong information about the US elections 2024 which can create panic after spreading misinformation among the public. You can have fun with AI chatbots with basic queries and requests but the serious matter needs to be investigated so that it doesn’t create major issues for the company and everyone involved in the episode.

Google and other tech giants would surely want to avoid that, and for that, controlling or limiting AI for these events is probably the best way out.

What's your reaction?
