Google Pixel 9 Pro XL Users Report Issues With Touch Screen But There's A Quick For It
Google Pixel 9 Pro XL features a big screen which seems to be facing input issues but people claim the problem can be easily fixed.

Google’s newly launched flagship smartphone is facing touchscreen issues, which particularly affects the keyboard. Some users have reported that the device fails to register taps in the bottom left corner of the screen. They say the downward-facing symbol in the bottom-left corner of the screen, used to minimise the keyboard on the Pixel 9 Pro XL, is unresponsive even with repeated tapping.

However, the issue seems limited to the specific area where the keyboard minimise button is located and does not affect other parts of the screen. Buttons placed in the corner function correctly, suggesting that the problem is likely due to software rather than a hardware failure in the display panel.

To solve this issue, several users suggested closing the keyboard by swiping the back gesture on the left/right edge of the screen, while others pointed out that rebooting the device would temporarily solve the problem.

However, the issue has not been reported on other Google Pixel devices including the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro.

Recently, several Google Pixel 9 Pro XL users observed that the telephoto camera seems to tilt when switching between zoom levels. This issue became apparent during video recording when transitioning from 2x to 5x zoom, causing the camera to shift slightly even when the phone was held steady. The problem has been noted with both the telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.

In addition to the aforementioned issues, some Pixel 9 Pro XL users have reported problems with the smartphone’s wireless charging. While the charging process begins normally, it tends to fail after a few minutes, whether using a car charger or a MagSafe battery pack.
