Honor 9 has announced its latest flagship smartphone - the Honor 9, for the UK and European market.

The Honor 9 smartphone would be priced at 499 Euros (around Rs 33,000) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant in Europe.

The device would be up for pre-order on Vmall while sales will begin only in July.

In terms of specifications, the new Honor 9 comes with a 5.15-inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) with 2.5D curved glass display. There's a 2.4GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor and 4GB/6GB RAM. Besides, 64GB/128GB of internal storage, the Honor 9 comes with an optional storage via micro SD card. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS wrapped under EMUI 5.1. There's a 3200 mAh battery housed inside.

The Honor 9 houses a dual rear camera setup of 20 megapixels and 12 megapixels with phase detection autofocus, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, and a dual tone LED flash. The primary rear camera has f/2.2 aperture and 4K video recording. In the front, an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture is present for selfies.

The Honor 9 will also be available in regions like Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and UAE.
