iPhone Users Can Get A Taste Of The BlackBerry For Just Rs 12,000: Here's How
Clicks is an iPhone case that gives you a BlackBerry-style keyboard, allowing you to type faster and use shortcuts without sacrificing screen real estate.

BlackBerry phones were extremely popular in their day due to their BBM messenger and their physical QWERTY keyboard. However, Android phones and iPhones have since replaced BlackBerry phones, and it is now difficult to find a mainstream device with a physical keyboard. However, a new iPhone accessory may be able to change that, transforming an iPhone into a BlackBerry-like phone.

Yes, that is correct. Clicks Technology has designed a case for iPhones that includes a built-in physical keyboard, which takes you back to the days of the classic BlackBerry. The case, called ‘Clicks,’ is available for $139 (approximately Rs 11,500) for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro models, while it will cost $159 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Clicks is available in two colors: BumbleBee (yellow) and London Sky (grey).

How Does It Work?

You may be wondering how an iPhone case can let you use a physical keyboard. Well, to start, it has a USB-C or Lightning port that connects to your iPhone for charging while it’s in the case; and it also has pass-through charging.

You have to slide the phone in until it aligns with the USB-C or Lightning port—and that means there’s a physical connection; it doesn’t use Bluetooth for connection.

In terms of how it works, the case allows you to use the full screen of your phone without having the keyboard cover up apps like the virtual keyboard on iOS does. This means you can see more of what’s on your screen. Moreover, you can use the keyboard to trigger iOS shortcuts like launching Spotlight and returning to the home screen. The case also has a backlight on the keyboard so you can use it in the dark. However, the case does make your phone look taller and bigger, so you’ll have to deal with that if you want the benefits of a physical keyboard.

What's your reaction?
